Victorian Amethyst Brooch 9ct Gold Chester 1877

This Victorian brooch was assayed in Chester in 1877 and is in excellent condition. It has an oval cut Amethyst which measures 14mm x 7mm, with an engraved scroll design and twisted gold wire whirls either side of the amethyst. The brooch measures 42mm x 17mm - weighs 3.75 grammes.
